Episode 3: The First Battle

The band was having lunch at a fast food place. The two boys got up to order dessert for everyone. That's when Tayla brought up the strange dream she'd had. "But you know what's really weird? After I woke up, I was still wearing the ring." She showed the others.

"No way!"

"This is too freaky--we have rings too!" Madeleine pointed out. They realized they'd all had the same dream as well.

"Let's tell the boys about this!" said Venus.

"No, let's keep it a secret!" So they did.

As all six began to walk home, the girls had the weirdest case of déjà vu. Tayla began to have this very uneasy feeling. She held onto Anthony as if something was going to happen to him.

Kenya then spoke, "What's that noise?"

"What noise?"

"That roaring noise, like a jet or something."

"You're hearing things, Kenya," Madeleine said.

"No, it's getting louder." They froze.

"Anthony, stay by me! Something bad is going to happen!" said Tayla, near tears.

"Don't worry," Anthony said, "nothing's going to happen. Kenya's just teasing."

"No, it's not Kenya. I can feel something."

"Kenya, you're right, I do hear something!" said Venus.

"It's getting louder…."

"What's that?!" They all freaked out. Something like a comet seemed to be coming towards earth! Millions of people came out onto the street to see what was going on. As the comet came closer, people panicked. It landed with a loud crash right in front of them, and they were literally blown away. It was enough to knock everyone but Tayla, Kenya, Madeleine, and Venus unconscious. Out of the comet burst a giant humanoid beast. The girls heard the voice from their dreams say, "This is it, girls. You know what to do." And strangely, they did.

Actually, they didn't know what they were doing or saying; yet it seemed that something inside them did, and they just went along with it. Soon they had all transformed into four warriors, and it was time to banish this dangerous creature. But before they could do anything, the monster hurled a powerful beam of light their way. "Madeleine, do something!" the other girls pleaded.

"Why me?" she cried, but her ring suddenly turned into a baton. A flood of memories entered her brain, and she stood in front of her friends and spun the baton to make a sort of shield. To their surprise, it absorbed the beam. "Hey, I remember this! Saturn rings, G-force sting!" She trapped the monster in her icy Saturn rings. She spun the baton again, this time in the opposite direction, and threw the beast's own attack back at it. The monster was weakened, but it was still strong enough to break free of the rings. It shot another beam directly toward Madeleine in anger--but just before it could hit her, a boomerang stopped it. The boomerang reversed and went back to Venus, the one who had cast it.

"I remember too!" Venus exclaimed.

"Me too! Thunderclap, lightning zap!" Tayla said this and electrocuted the monster. Just then, Anthony woke up.

"Solar rays, fire…" began Kenya.

"What's going on?" asked a confused Anthony.

"Anthony!" cried Venus in surprise.

"How do you know me? I must be dreaming!"

"…blaze!" But Anthony had distracted Kenya and she missed--instead, she'd put a building on fire!

"I'll put it out!" announced Venus. "Luna flash, aqua splash!" and Venus put out the fire. The four let out a sigh of relief.

"See ya later, girls!" shouted the monster, back turned to them, ready to head back into outer space.

"Not so fast!" Tayla's ring transformed into a scepter, and she held it out to destroy the beast. She tried to remember what words to say to activate it.

"Ooh, I'm scared! No problem, I'll just let your boyfriend have it!" The monster held Anthony out in front of it. Tayla gasped and lowered her weapon.

"Anthony, no!! Put him down!!"

"Bye-bye, little girls!"

"Come back here! Leave him alone! Anthony!! NO!!!" With that, the monster left, and Tayla broke into tears.

Kenya put her arm around Tayla's shoulders in comfort. "Don't cry, Tay, we'll track down that beast and get Anthony back!"

"No! The voice in my dream said if they took him, I'd never see him again! He's gone! I've failed." Their uniforms vanished, and the people began to wake up. Still, Tayla sat in the middle of the street crying heavily for her lost love.
